I have a house of Austin Air air purifier with a HEPA filter and the filter is a metal drum large. "I can recycle, put the garbage in the normal or do I have to ask for the special retreat?

Oreck XL Professional Air Purifier?
I am thinking of buying an Oreck XL Professional air cells purified with Truman gives technowlege.Consumer Reports a low rating. Does anyone have one and what is your opinion? I'ts a bedroom and do not want to throw my money on a piece of junk. I want to stay away from the replacement of air filters an honest answer would be appreciated.
In my opinion it trowing your money. I think you have to buy filters, may be wrong, there may be updated. I found a $ 110.00 Costco, no filters, clean the cleaning rods, and works like a champ. (It may be a little more now that I bought a year ago)

What are air purifiers? What are the types of air purifiers? What factors should be taken into account when buying one?

An air purifier is a machine that works to clean the air we breathe by removing particles and pollutants harmful air in your home. Consumer report air purifiers at home will tell immediately that you should not consider an air purifier as a silver bullet.
The use of air purifiers should be the last resort of the three-pronged approach towards improving the air you breathe inside your home.
The first suggests that the control source (s) of pollutants or to reduce their emissions.

What brand of air purifiers is that?
a member of my family had this air purifier that has worked very well. I had a fan to circulate air and instead use water filters for all the nasty things go in the water and simply discharged into the sewer. Does anyone have an idea?
