Question by orangecrushboy: How to Replace my True Air Purifiers filters or if i even can?
its called a ecoclean true air purifier ( its an air purifier) it kinda looks like the ionic breeze but a little more bulky.. the thing is... i don't know how to clean or replace the filters that are in it.. or if i even can... if someone can tell me what to do step by step or can show me a link that does the ill totally give u 10 points thanks

According to Hamilton Beach, the manufacturer, you got swindled out of your money by a gimmick. A filter is supposed to load up and a HEPA filter is loading with microscopic particles that can't be vacuumed out of the filter. The only particles that you will pull off of the filter are the visible ones, which means that the bulk of the filter is still plugged. It appears that once the filter is plugged, you are expected to buy a new unit. The filter is not changed, nor are there replacements.
When it comes time to replace that unit, take a look at the Sun Pure SP-20C at http://www.allergy-relief-air-purifier.com/portable-air-purifiers.html This is the same unit used in hospitals for its efficiency and effectiveness and will be the last air purifier that you will need to buy. This is top quality and the replacement filter set is only $ 145 every two years. Question by Yarra: Ionic air purifiers and ozone emission..?
I want to purchase an air purifier. Since HEPA ones are noisey, thinking of ionic. But I ve heard they omit some ozone, eventhough the level is below industrial safety level.
Have you ever usewd an ionic air purifier and did you find it ok..?
Also if you use a HEPA one please leave a comment on the noise level. Do you find it too disturbing?

I had the Sharper Image ionic purifier for about 3 years. The ozone odor at times is recognizable and not unpleasant but not a desirable thing to be breathing. Consumers reports has reviewed this purifier on several occasions and flunked it because the ionic mechanism does not move enough air to adequately filter even a small room. Indeed I saw no difference in the dust accumulation when I used it. I now have a small Hunter with HEPA filter. The noise is tolerable after a while and there is a noticeable and significant decrease in the amount of dust. The drawback compared to the ionic is the filter is not cheap (mine about 22$ ) and needs to be replaced every 3months or 6 if you really stretch it.
