* Cough cough * What the devil is in my room?
I do not know if I have only one problem with dust or something, but since about 3 years I have had this dry cough that worsens over time. However, I have a cough when I enter my room. So few months ago I went to my doctor and he gave me asthma pump only needed when I was in my room. Who has stopped working for me, so I just bought an air purifier with UV and works very well. However, when I turn it off if you start to cough day and night. What was once only at night when I rest. Can it really be only dust? What else could this be? What test equipment at home should I buy?
Could it be mold somewhere. We moved New apartment and had similar problems with our son. He coughed every time we were at home, but stopped when we started. Even my husband and I have had strange problems, had the mental fog, while my husband had a headache that would also be comfortable when we left. At the same time, a branch w air filter and UV. Works well so that my children have become cons cough returned. We found mold under the kitchen sink. Apparently, Mold spores travel and follow the alternating current in all the time. We have progressed since then and we're all good now. Want to see the May Building disease. Good Luck

Air purifiers available on the market vary from one model to another for the purposes for which they were designed. What air purifier is best for you will be determined by the type of impurities in the air inside to remove it.

Cat dander is a support mechanism of cat allergen, which is pretty bad. But there are several other aspects to consider.
First, same cat dander produced enough to be a source of abundant food for the mites. The mites used as a secondary source of allergens through their excrement and dead, dried carcasses. Not only the impact of allergens and cat dander be considered, but also the effects of dust mites increased.

So much dust in my apartment! Thinking to get this air purifier - Comments?
There are a lot of dust on the floor makes me sneeze. We are all vacuum 2-3 days, but we have all the books and small objects. Depends who you ask. EPA states that limit the exposure to ozone is, I believe, of 50 parts per machine billion.Some resume that.Always check with the manufacturer to verify specifications. Consumer Reports is a good place to get this info.Ozone even in small quantities in May bother some other people, not a problem. I assure you that any machine you buy has the ability to transform ozone OFF.Also check on other aspects of the ability of machines to clean air.Things that the positive ions and negative (more negative than positive). So do not kill bacteria, fungi and viruses with ultraviolet light? How much the bulb when it needs to be replaced? Do you use filters? If yes, how much do they cost, when it is time that this aid replace.Hope

The 3M Filtrete electrostatic polyolefin-based filters (very common in furnace filters, and now part of an independent air purifier) are pre-loaded with a static charge to attract dirt, dust and particles from the incoming air. My question is, as non-irradiated (normal) air travel through the filter (via a simple fan, ionizer is involved) there is no way I can take a load of electrostatic filters, or air can be ionized in any way or form after release Filter? Now that I know, the air does not pay well, so I think it would not, but I want an expert opinion.
No, is not possible. The static load is basically "fixed". If possible, discharge would be very fast in the bag long before you have purchased and installed.

Air purifier ionizer on or off?
I just bought a small air purifier (for a small room). I had difficulty breathing (deep breathing difficulty). I have a tendency to see a doctor, but wanted an answer about my purifier. There is a switch to turn the ionizer activated, if I chose to do so. I had a couple of weeks now. I only use the ionizer about 24 hours during that period time. It seems as if the particulate filter becomes more when the ionizer is turned on. My question is ... Is it better for me to have the ionizer on or off? I filtered through some of the Q & A on the board already. I can not find a clear answer. Ions To be honest, positive and negative talk really confuses me. Can anyone put in simple terms for me? And let me whether you should keep the ionizer on or off? Thank you in advance!
I also had shortness of breath and a couple of air purifiers. The mines have the same switch that if you throw more dirt on the filter decreases. But I find it more difficult for me encouraged by what I do is leave it on while I go out or work. When I get home I turn it off, even when I sleep, I just let the filter run with the ionizer. I hope that helps.
