Air purifiers have become commonplace in both home and office. They suffer from allergies and asthma depend on them to help them breathe easier. If you are looking to buy one, then the array technology can be confusing at first.
We have prepared a examination of five of the latest technology air purifier so you can choose the right machine for your home.
Air purifiers are devices that remove pollutants from the air inside a building. There are 5 types of air cleaners:
1. Ultraviolet radiation germicidal (UVGI)-It kills germs in the air by UV irradiation. However, it is considered highly effective as most bacteria pests and fungi require a large amount of UV for destruction.
2. High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filter particles efficiently (99% of all particles of 0.3 micrometers can be caught, and a significant smaller particles). The efficiency of HEPA filters is maximized when air can circulate through the filter. This means that ventilate rooms sealed by the specified routes, not the case for most households.
3. Carbon adsorption is used for the chemical compounds at the molecular level. However, its effectiveness is discussed that the process stops when the carbon adsorption reaches equilibrium with the atmosphere. So, not remove all chemicals and chemicals can be released into the air so many of them in the filter.
4. Ionic Purifiers do not use a polymer or paper as the technology used in HEPA units. Load Purifiers ionizing particles so they are attracted by the plates which are an opposite charge. Ionic Purifier make noise, much less than machines based on the majority of HEPA filters. Ionic purifiers are able to eliminate the smaller particles, but are not as useful with doors or germs.
5. Other emerging technologies, such as photos oxidation catalytic (PCO) promise a high level of purification with low power consumption. However, the OCP does not currently used in residences, because they are not effective in destroying gaseous pollutants.
