I am thinking of buying an Oreck XL Professional air cells purified with Truman gives technowlege.Consumer Reports a low rating. Does anyone have one and what is your opinion? What are air purifiers? What are the types of air purifiers? What factors should be taken into account when buying one?

Let us share with you the information we have gathered from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), The American Lung Association (ALA) and other review sites of consumers who will give you a complete report on air purifiers in your home and help you choose the right one.

An air purifier is a machine that works to clean the air we breathe by removing particles and pollutants harmful air in your home. Consumer report air purifiers at home will tell immediately that you should not consider an air purifier as a silver bullet.

The use of air purifiers should be the last resort of the three-pronged approach towards improving the air you breathe inside your home.

The first suggests that the control source (s) of pollutants or to reduce their emissions.
