Austin Air Purifier Sales Lead the Way for Air Purifiers Direct 2U's Continued Growth in 2008

With May 2008 business in the books, Air Purifiers Direct 2U records another year-over-year increase in total sales with Austin Air Purifier products leading the way. A close second was Rabbit Air Purifiers and then Amaircare Air Purifiers.
Founder Bill Unyi continues to be amazed at the popularity of the Austin Air brand over all others in his line-up of air purifiers. "They continue to stand out each and every month in total sales dollars and overall volume", Unyi states. "It's no accident either. We really do promote their products over all others as one of our top-of-the-line and recommended products on our website." "We have other air purifiers that are better overall air purifiers for specific needs, but the Austin Air products on average can stand-up to most applications in the home or office."
Austin Air Purifiers are manufactured in Buffalo, NY by Austin Air Systems. Their products have been around for well over 10 years and only little tweaks have been made over the years to make them better. "They may have changed the names around a few times, but virtually it's the same product they initially produced back in the beginning of their company", Unyi states. "They are just so simple to use and maintain and I believe that is their appeal." With a steel constructed outer shell, it is built for durability. Their filters are True-HEPA and are sealed so that contaminants can get into the filter, but they can't get out. The HEPA and Carbon Cartridge filter life is extended out to 4 or 5 years if the air purifier is only used as needed and not left on 24 hours a day. "The requests for Blueair products were overwhelming and it seems like it will be a good fit when they are added later this year", Unyi states. "I know that the Blueair products are going to add to the bottom-line since people would buy them from us if we offered them on our site. I hope that holds true since they'll be there on the site sooner rather than later."

They have been in business since 2006 and have been a BBB (Better Business Bureau) Accredited Business for the past 2 years. 10% of their profits are donated to local and national charities.
