Does anyone know if The Sharper Image Ionic Breeze Air Purifier really works?

I saw many negative comments and positive. I do not know whether to take the money back guarantee ...

I've heard nothing but bad things about them. have no personal experience with the full size, but I bought a car the size Ionic Breeze Sharper Image store on eBay, it worked well for 2 days, then stopped abruptly and no further work would be. Opriginal wanted the packaging to return, but I threw the box. Their inhabitants are customer service great pain in the A $ $ and had to complain several times before I can get a refund. His "return" ensuring that give you trouble if you try to return their defective products.
