I just changed the air filter in my truck and I think that I can make a difference?

The original filter in the truck was quite dirty, I got a couple of times and a lot of dirt and dust fell. I put a new filter, its not a Fram filter performance its just a factory replacement type Duro Guard, but I noticed a slight improvement in acceleration and pepper vehical sounds even better when your driving when I went for a quick spin around the block. Am I imagine or fresh filter really help much?

That's why people put filter performance in their cars, because they breathe more easily. More air means mmore burn. and the air does not mean it will not burn. you'll notice a decent jump in fuel consumption as well. you're spitting a lot of fuel out of their escape. Hopefully that has not damage your catalytic converter. do the maintenance! CAR needs maintenance or they will not work! Case and point
