Best Air Filters Efficiency
Having problems with hot starts in my 99 'GMC 1 / 2 ton w / 5.3L.?
Truck-cold start (for the first time that day or after sitting 4 or 5 hours). When it works, seems to be fine. After its hot, if you turn off and 5 minutes, it starts well. I've noticed the problem when you let sit for 5 minutes to 3 hours, and then try starting it. Spins freely but will not fire even in a long boot. The only how to make fire is on the floor of her, as if flooded. I changed the plugs, wires, air and fuel filters, fuel pump, and air mass sensor. Ran a code scanner on it this afternoon and "makes EVAP system leak, small" and "catalyst system low efficiency Bank 1" About a month I get a code saying H2O cercuit low voltage sensor, both banks, sensors 1 and 2. Get your intake gaskets check for vacuum leaks. It is a common problem and create a small vacuum leak when put into the air not measured, which makes the air / fuel ratio to be thrown out. Code will cause evaporation, and also the lean condition is that you have more air fuel, flat rate of air being pulled in consumption. This could also cause a condition of flooding.
