Is it expensive to pay a company to remove mold from some beams in the basement and also test the air?
It does not help air purifiers to create a healthier environment in the basement, with a dehumdifier?
YES! If you have mold on the ceiling probably also in the subfloor, so it becomes too high. Now you need new floors, etc. etc. Ask for a quote form more business, then hire only companies that are certified to handle such work. Call your local BBB about the history of temporary work. In many places are there rules on how such work should be because you may have to take a certification by a contractor to sell your house if you know you have mold. This may turn to be very expensive.
