Air purifiers can help reduce the smell and smoke from forest fires that come to your house?

I a friend who lives near forest fire Melbourne, Australia. It is very allergic to smoke and fire are a couple of hours later, his house and the air was filled with the smell of smoke permeates the air. It's summer now, if the temperature is very high. Does anyone know if using an air purifier for domestic use would reduce the amount of smoke in the air home? An air conditioner could be any help at all? Thank you very much for your input. David (on behalf of his friend Belinda Wondeful)

The very good Definitely assistance, but the typical pattern of air purifiers low in most retail stores will not be very useful. Check www.allergyreliefstore.com. Look at your list of products relating to "Austin" air purifiers. These purifiers clean room class and incredibly effective. The most great circles in the air 4 times an hour for most homes. It is the only one we have, but not cheap.
