Do I want a ion shower in my house?

Do I want a 'clean-ion shower in an air cleaner for my home? I have no idea of what should be in a cleaner air. I want something to filter mold spores, dust mites and all that but I thought that was enough HEPA filter. What is this storm ion cleaning thing?!

They are a trick, such as 1-hour Martinizing. HEPA filters work and you can see the garbage is filtered out when you get stuck in that country. Moreover, in science fiction every time there is a shower or ion ion storm, always a bad thing really. Lol.
