The original filter in the truck was quite dirty, I got a couple of times and a lot of dirt and dust fell. I put a new filter, its not a Fram filter performance its just a factory replacement type Duro Guard, but I noticed a slight improvement in acceleration and pepper vehical sounds even better when your driving when I went for a quick spin around the block. Am I imagine or fresh filter really help much?

Hello, I recently installed Honeywell model 2200 air filter in my house, and uses FC200E1037 20x25x5 air filter. The MERV 11 says what does this mean? Besides, how often I have to change the filter? I have 1500 sq ft home with 2 dogs and adults. Nobody smoke. But getting dust due to the dogs, I guess. Thank you. OH, and if since I installed this system, I'm not that change the air filter before (22x22x1 in size), or install anything there?
